Istočni Timor – Državna zastava
- Zastava države Istočni Timor.
- U ponoć 19. svibnja 2002., Istočni Timor postaje nezavisan i tad je spuštena zastava Ujedinjenih Naroda, ta podignuta nova-stara zastava (od 1975 godine).
- Žuti trokut predstavlja tragove kolonijalizma iz prošlosti.
- Crni trokut prestavlja “pomračenje koje treba svladati”-
- Crveno polje predstavlja borbu za nacionalnu slobodu.
- Zvijezda “vodilja” je bijele boje te predstavlja mir.
- The flag of East Timor state.
- At midnight the 19th May 2002., East Timor became independent and then lowered the flag of the United Nations, raised the new flag-old (since 1975 years).
- Yellow triangle represents the traces of colonialism of the past.
- Black triangles represent “solar eclipse to be overcome” –
- The red field represents the struggle for national freedom.
- Star “guideline” is white and represents peace.
