- Zastava Južne Koreje usvojena je 6.3.1883.
- Na bijeloj podlozi nalazi se crveno-plavi simbol yin yanga
i tri crne pruge na uglovima zastave.
- Simbol yin yang predstavlja filozofske ideje svemira.
- Pruge označavaju:
Silu = nebo, proljeće, istok, vrline
Polje = zemlju, ljeto, zapad, pravdu
Zračenje = sunce, jesen, jug, uljudnost
Ždrijelo = mjesec, zimu, sjever, znanje ili mudrost
- Bijela podloga predstavlja čistoću naroda.

, uvođenjem demokratske vlade.
- Sastoji se od crvene i plave boje razdvojene
zelenom u obliku slova Y.
- Y pravi istostranični crni trokut sa žutim rubovima.
- Središnji dio zelenoga Y uovičen je bijelom bojom.
- Nema službene simbolike.

- Zastava države Jordana se sastoji od tri horizontalna polja (crnog, bijelog i zelenog)

- Zastava je bazirana prema zastavi Arapske pobune protiv Osmanskog Carstva
za vrijeme Prvog svjetskog rata.
- Polja predstavljaju Abasidski, Emevijjski i Fatimidski Kalifat.
- Crveni trokut predstavlja dinastiju Hashemita i Arapsku pobunu.
- Bijela sedmokraka zvijezda, koja razlikuje Jordansku zastavu od
zastave Palestine ima dvostruko značenje: predstavlja sedam stihova
u prvoj suri Kurana, te jedinstvo Arapa.

- Zastava države Jemen je usvojena 22. svibnja 1990.,
tog dana su se ujedinili sjeverni i južni jemen.
- Sastoji se od tri vertikalna polja raznih boja (crvena, bijela i crna).
- To su Panarapske boje, kao i na zastavama Egipta, Sirije, Iraka i drugih država.
- Crvena predstavlja krvoproliće nad mučenicima i jedinstvo,
bijela svijetlu budućnost, a crna mračnu prošlost.

- Od te godine pa sve do 1999. Japan nije imao službenu državnu zastavu.
- Japanski parlament je 1999. godine donio odluku kojom se ova zastava proglašava državnom.
- Zastava Japana je bijele podloge na kojoj se u središtu nalazi crveni krug koji simbolizira izlazeće Sunce.
- Službeni japanski naziv za zastavu je Nisshōki (sunčeva zraka).
- Ipak u svakodnevnom govoru se češće koristi naziv Hinomaru (Sunčev disk).
